I'm making jewelry for the wedding party of a relative. I want to be reasonable, especially since she will probably expect some sort of discount friends & family discount? but I also want to make a profit.

I am a jewelry artist, with several target clients. Please feel free to take a look at my shop, at WinterMoonJewelry.etsy.com to get an idea of what I make and sell.We've all seen those rear window decals...the rather large ones, with logos and text, etc. Some are funny, some are for racers or wannabes , and some are advertisements. I am, of course, looking for the latter.What do you think would work for advertising? Just my moon and snowflake logo, or some sort of jewelry picture? Rappers and depreciating jewelry?
A million dollars in jewelry? Someone got to tell these dudes those " trinkets" don't appreciate. They depreciate. Don't get me wrong now I'm not hating I have my genuine, real, VS 1 diamond jewelry. But to spend THAT MUCH MONEY ON that, it's just foolish. You can look at someone like Eminem, he probably seen and has more money than anyone in the rap game right now but he dresses modest, doesn't wear any diamonds, but he invests in real estate and things that appreciate. Also, don't think these rappers are not lying to you when they say their jewelry pieces cost 100k . Most of those jewelz are fake or only cost 10 20k. You can get watch with 25 carats worth of diamonds for $4,000 in some cases. The clarity is sub par but still you'll be shining. Don't be fooled.Jojo, I appreciate your interest in my post but T Pain did get his money off ringtones and singles. He put out enough hits to afford something like that to be honest. The real question is the level of quality of those diamonds.Either way, if he paid more than 35k for that, he got.....GOT. May I mention you are beautiful?
