What is that quote about visiting other cultures that ends each episode of some travel show on PBS?
I cannot even remember the guy that hosts this particular tv show, It is not rick steves or rudy maxa but some older guy that is perty kewl. Anyways, he ends each episode with a quote, the same one always, and it is from someone like Mark Twain or somebody, and it goes something like this " travel is something that wards of ignorance and hatred of other cultures" or something much better worded than that. Please help me to learn the show and the quote. Thanks I have FINALLY found it, after much much googling. I found the quote first Mark Twain said " Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow mindedness." My second question is that i have heard that scientists have derived a method by which they can erase a person's memory or in simple words cause a loss of memory through an operation in the brain. Is this true? If yes, then please give me further details.

I am not talking about Back to the Future trilogy. The film I am talking about is from something between late 70s to early 90s. I saw this film when I was a kid maybe 15 years ago. Film story after recalling my memory In the start, a girl, driving convertible car probably her birthday , accident happens, car about to hit a wall in an alley, instead car travels through a time portal to an age where people are savage and barbaric like in " Conan the Barbarian" cartoon series, later that girl met a big muscular man protagonist and what I remember is that guy had an eagle and a tiger lion as a pet.

so the story goes, there is a bunch of people in modern day who i think are studying medieval artifacts and they make some time machine and manage to go back in time to the medieval era and one man out of the bunch brings a grenade with him, he wasn't meant to because they had to act and dress like they were from that era and he gets shot in the back from an arrow from horseman that were trying to chase the group down and it blew up. one man in the group was a french man who was in the castle of the enemy of the french and he was forced to say " i am a spy' in french by the king and he got stabbed. in the end one guy gets his ear cut off from battle and they go back in the future.. what is the title called?
What's the name of this movie? (It's about time travel to 1776 in the USA)?
In the early 90's, I saw a movie on cable TV. It was about a scientist trying to take other characters to 1776. I think the movie takes place in 1976...but something goes wrong with the time machine and the characters are transported to 2076. I recall they get back with a shirt with the Constitution printed on it, believing that it was the real one...they frame it. Do you know its name? Thank you in advance.

Does anybody remember a 90s children's tv program where a group of kids travelled to a medieval village ?
